Magento Open Source / Adobe Commerce

Magento consulting

Paradise Software is Magento contracting for stores and agencies that need work done inside the platform, not a slide deck. Custom modules, storefront theming, version upgrades, and security patches, from someone who has been building on Magento for nearly a decade.

Custom modules

New Magento features that are not a catalog product: Admin grids, checkout changes, integrations, and storefront behavior built as proper modules.

Theming

Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce storefront themes: layout, Less, templates, and checkout styling that stay upgrade-safe.

Upgrades

Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce version upgrades, including the custom code that usually breaks when core moves.

Security patching

Adobe security patches applied and verified on staging, without waiting for a full version upgrade when you cannot take one yet.

Custom Magento module development

If Magento does not do what the store needs, the durable fix is a module, not a pile of core rewrites. That includes Admin tools, REST or GraphQL endpoints, payment or ERP integrations, catalog and checkout changes, and the glue between Magento and a system the merchant already runs.

Work is scoped as Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce modules: app/code or Composer packages, setup patches instead of ad-hoc SQL, and tests where the behavior is worth locking down. The goal is code another Magento developer can read a year later, including after a Magento upgrade.

Storefront theming

Magento theming is layout XML, .phtml templates, Less, and Magento UI components, not a generic CSS restyle on top of a broken theme. Typical work is a custom theme on Magento’s Luma or Blank parent, email templates, checkout and account pages, and the storefront bugs that show up once a designer’s mock is dropped onto Magento’s structure.

Theme changes are kept out of core and out of app/code unless they belong in a module. That keeps upgrades from wiping the look of the store, and keeps presentation separate from business logic.

Magento and Adobe Commerce upgrades

A Magento upgrade is rarely “composer update and see.” Custom modules, payment methods, and the theme all have to move with core. Paradise Software handles Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce upgrades: Composer constraints, setup:upgrade, deprecated APIs in custom code, and a staging pass over checkout, catalog, customer account, and Admin before production.

That includes the jumps merchants postpone, such as 2.4.6 to 2.4.7 or 2.4.8, where Magento changes default behavior and third-party modules lag. The upgrade plan is written against the store you have, not a greenfield install.

Security patching

Adobe publishes Magento security patches on a schedule that does not wait for your next major upgrade. If a full version bump is not realistic this quarter, the patches still need to land. Paradise Software applies Magento / Adobe Commerce security patches, checks the custom code and theme they touch, and verifies checkout and Admin on staging before production.

Patching is treated as its own job: backup, apply, smoke-test, document what changed. It is not bundled into an unrelated feature ticket and hoped for.

How work starts

Email a short description of the store (Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce, version, Cloud or not) and what you need done. If it is a fit, you get a scoped outline: what will be built or upgraded, what Magento versions it covers, and what is out of scope. Work is remote, for merchants and agencies, worldwide.
